I first learned that roller derby was a thing after seeing Whip It in theaters back in high school, and have wanted to play it ever since. Years later, I saw a TCDS recruit night flyer at a bar, and just went for it. What I really like about this team is how encouraging everyone is. What I also really love is that feeling of team unity we have whenever we play together as a team, regardless of whether we’re struggling or in the lead.
